Simba Woodard is an educator, writer, and organizer from Nashville, TN. Simba has dedicated his life and career to caring for, empowering, and fighting for young folks, especially those identifying as black, queer, and trans.  He follows in the footsteps of griots and other ancestors using story and poetry to honor black folks, their history and their legacy. 
Simba has experience as a mentor, teacher, program coordinator, and outreach coordinator. Simba has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Sociology, a Masters in Organizational Leadership, and  a Master of Science in Public Relations.
